What qualifications do our employees have?

Often when you research different home improvement companies, or contractors, you find that many of the staff is not really qualified to do the job. Selecting such an expensive, major project such as windows or siding should not be taken lightly. It would be similar to selecting doctors, lawyers, and accountants. Everyone has to start somewhere but as a homeowner you probably prefer to deal with someone who knows their field perfectly. Most of our staff specializes in a certain area and focuses on the job at hand.

Our marketing manager has spent years nearly 8 years with us and nearly 8 years in prior marketing. His job is to research demographics of areas that would appeal to us placing a model home. We sometimes actually take a loss on a job in order to gain word of mouth advertisement from a home in a well positioned area. His job is incredibly intense and detail specific, and he spends many countless hours driving around the syracuse area and beyond searching for areas we would like to target for our model home programs.

Our sales staff is on call 7 days a week and treats your job as their priority. You will find the most expertise of all our staff within our consultants. None have less than 5 years experience and all our fully knowledgeable in construction design, finance, industry news, market direction, manufacturing technologies, and all stay abreast of our competitors. We fully believe we have the best options available at the best pricing for your needs. We refuse to hire new trainees because we find that they simply do not have the experience or knowledge to answer all your probable questions. You will find that our consultants will often have all your questions answered before you ask them!

Our office staff is comprised of a finance manager, office manager, and a few clerks. You will find that at C. Michael Exteriors even our clerks have years of experience working with us. Our office manager has been with us for 20 years! This level of experience allows us to manage our business wisely and efficiently which gives you less headaches! We will not lose your paperwork, or allow you to get "lost in the mix" like some of the larger high overhead companies.

Our ownership is dedicated to running a solid company built on solid ethics. We are not a "fly by night" company and have been in this business for decades. We share a unique position by offering quality materials that would not be available through most contractors, while not having the high overheads and flashy luxuries of the larger companies that bombard you with television advertisements and sweepstakes gimmicks.

Our installation crew is spearheaded by our senior carpenter. All of our staff is personally selected by him and we hire no illegal aliens or minors in order to save a few bucks. Installation can make or break our business and we only want the best for you regardless of how much you spend or what size your job is. You will find that we can handle any construction need of yours.
